Larry E. Loeser, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away February 18, 2023 with his family by his side. Larry was a member of Immanuel UCC his entire life, where he made a group of lifelong friends. He enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, bowling, and dart ball with the church teams. He also liked playing golf with friends. Larry was a big U of L fan, especially of the men and women’s basketball teams. Larry graduated from U of L with a BS in accounting. He worked most of his career in the food industry at A&P as the controller, then with Pepsi General Bottlers, and then with Wine & Schultz. The last five years of his working life, he worked with at risk students for JCPS.

Larry loved to be around people. He always looked forward to the next gathering with friends and family. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Bud Loeser and his mother, Dorothy Loeser. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Loeser: his daughter, LeAnne Walsh (Brad): his grandson, Noah Walsh and his sisters, Rita Aldana (Manny) and Robin Loeser, as well as His brother-in-law, Alan Reinhardt.

A visitation for Larry will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218). A funeral service will occur Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel UCC (2300 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40205). A committal service will follow Friday, February 24, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, Kentucky 40204.
