George passed away in Atlanta, GA  March 19, 2011.  He was survived by his wife Mimi,a son and daughter.  Here is George's Obituary that appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on March 22, 2011

CLARK, George George Alexander Clark MARIETTA - George Clark, 68, died Saturday, March 19th at Metropolitan Hospice at Serenity Manor. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clifford Emery Clark, Jr. and Julia Wareing Clark. George was a graduate of the University of Louisville and a veteran of the United States Air Force. A gifted photographer, George created photographs for more than 30 years. His photographs have appeared in magazines and newspapers all over the world; and he was twice nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. He was a proud Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fly fishing. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Mary Bondurant Clark; son, George Alexander Clark, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Oakland Gardens, New York; daughter, Frances Lee Bogle and her husband, Brian, of Hickory, North Carolina; brother, Clifford Emery Clark III and his wife, Gayle, of Brandon, Florida; brother, William Wallace Clark of Louisville, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Mary Ward Tabler and her husband, Biggs, of Louisville, Kentucky; 4 grandchildren, 4 nephews and 1 niece. A memorial service will be held at The Episcopal Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, located at 1795 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta, at one o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, March 24th. The family will receive friends at their home immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Boy Scouts of America, P.O.
