Clyde, I'm so glad you keep up with all this.  I remember Jenny - really nice.

I'm heading back to Yuma, AZ.  I was there for 10 days while my sister was in the hospital.  She was doing better so I came home for a few days to pay some bills that weren't online and work on some volunteer work.  However, she is declining and I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Yuma and will be back in a week.  We do not expect her to live.  Joyce had Sjogren's Disease - an autoimmune disease that affected her platelets.  She was in the hospital about 6 weeks ago for 3 weeks - they gave her strong doses of a steroid which damaged her colon and it perforated about 1 1/2 weeks ago.  Now I'm heading back to be with her husband and help him.  We all need prayers!

I'm thankful for this website and all the renewed friendships.  Thanks to all!

I just returned from spending 3 weeks in Yuma, AZ.  My sister was unconcious in the hospital for about 2 weeks before she died.  I then spent a week helping at her house with everything she did - trying to teach her husband.

Joyce had Sjogren's Disease - an autoimmune disease.  she was in the hospital the beginning of Feb. for 1 1/2 weeks for low platelet count.  The doctor gave her very strong doses of the steroid, which caused her colon to perforate.  The doctors did surgery but she was never able to get over all the infection and died Mar 12, 10 days before her 64th birthday.   So young and so sad that the researchers haven't found much help yet for Sjogren's.

Happy Easter to all!

Bev

Barmore, Barry Wallace: 29 Dec 1942 - 16 Mar 2013 of leukemia. It's in the Tuesday March 19 Courier-Journal. I remember his being active in the DeMolay fraternity.

Beverly, it's always sad to see someone pass on due to an incurable disease.
