Carole spent her entire career educating teenagers--no small feat! After graduating from Centre College of Kentucky in 1966, she returned to Louisville and taught English to junior high students. In 1968, she moved to Cincinnati and worked for the Oak Hills School District until her retirement shortly before her death. There she taught English to high school students, served as a class advisor, worked as an assistant principal at a junior high school and then became the District English Supervisor for the junior and senior high schools. She received her Masters of Education in English from Xavier University in the early 70s.
Carole was a great cook, avid reader and a wonderful friend. She left behind a partner, Fred, and a beloved sister Susan and nephew, Jason.
