Birthdays missed

Well, that was a fine 'howdy do' when Geraldine was noted to have a birthday on June 9th but I was not.  In my profile I said I maintained a low profile, but invisible was not what I had in mind.

I am Jean Lee Ogilvie - alias Hunn, Mahakian, Mortenson. I was saddened and mifted that my birthday was not acknowledged.  All my life I shared my birthday with first my twin and then a 2nd child bore June 10. I was in my 30s when I was finally given a birthday party for me, myself alone.

Birthdays are important to remember, I believe.

Signing off, now.

That's a long time to wait for you own party!

Two of my grandsons, same family, have birthdays exactly one week apart.  This was the first year my daughter had separate family parties.  They've always had separate friend parties.  I think next year she'll go back to one family party - too much to do in two weekends to have 4 parties!

Did you all go to the same college?  I guess I could check the membership list for that info.

I hope you had a great day on your birthday!  My brother called and said he hoped I enjoy my 70th year.  That was harder to take than being 69!

I'm afraid I haven't wished many people "Happy Birthday" as I've received emails.  They are still on my email list, I just have to go back and send them belated greetings.  Oh, well.

Enjoy your summer.  It's hot and humid here - typical KY summer.
